All I want to see is Finn and Flame Princess together, fighting evil, and if Pendleton screws this up I'm personally going to talk to him. He may have screwed up Flapjack, but he will NOT screw up Adventure Time
Basically guys I think I've got it. As Finn has previously stated Flame Princess is passionate, and innocent. As to paraphrase Itachi's referral of Sasuke she is a blank canvas. Both Finn and Flame King are trying to paint this canvas. Finn is trying to make her good while Flame King wants whats best for his daughter and wants her to be evil as it would be easier for her considering her background. A felt tip is easier to get rid of than paint. Just like Good is more likely to be corrupted by Evil than Evil is to be over taken by Good. You see heros becoming villains all the time but its rarer to see a villain become a hero. They are both trying to create Flame Princess in their own images and their is only a little bit of Flame Princess left... But at the same time Finn doesn't want her personally overtaken completely which is why there are so many gaps in between his colouring.
Of course I just meant that I was taking a quote Itachi used refering about sasuke to what is currently relevent. In other words Itachi said that Sasuke is a blank canvas and that means that someone can paint on him and make him their own, manipulating him... a different form of slavery where you may not know it but someone is always (or at least trying to) pull the strings behind a person and their actions, trying to make them *feel what they feel (or at least wants them to feel), share their opinions, their values, there why of seeing the world and the point of life... *(i had a better word to use their but then my comp started making noises and i got momentarily distracted and forgot my point) Do you understand now?
I'm having a little trouble telling what's going on. My first guess was that Finn was coloring FP, and FK was pouring some kind of liquid on it to smudge it - ruining Finn's work like he's trying to do with Finn turning FP completely good. Looking at the quote though, I'm guessing that it's just that they're both coloring in the picture; Finn using crayon wax and FK using candle wax.
