Another work done in Sai. I wanted to challenge myself by coloring the work of another artist and what better to color than the talented ~shizuneyuki8720 whose works stand just fine as black and white works but deserve to be colored.

Thanks for letting me work on this shizuneyuki8720. It's been a fun experience. :)

Your coloring is beautiful, absolutly beautiful. The artwork itself it lovely too, but since the lineart isn't yours I'll only comment on the colors. I find the colors to have a traditional look to them and it fits the piece very well. The shadings and lumiousuties on the dress are perfect. From the expression on her face she seemed very worried about something or fleeing from something. Which the background that you interpreted, the time to be like dusk or early morning. The color were well pick and the coloring was great.

Thank you for the critique! Your interpretation is spot on. Given the title: "The Last Geisha Empress" I wanted to put in a sense of the end by darker colors and dusk scene (or dawn) :)
